First responders and veterans experience the part of life that those that have never served will never understand. And this service comes with a high cost. Potentially devasting mental health issues when left unaddressed such as PTSD and substance abuse can develop.
SALS has recognized this need and is creating programs to support first responders in our community such as:
• Housing
• Outsourced treatment for PTSD and Addiction issues
• Peer support
• Family programing and support
We need your help
SALS is raising funds to create a supportive recovery house for first responders.
